Provide each child with their own personal kid's storage for treasures and items they want to keep private. Night tables with a drawer and shelf are great for notebooks, journals, favorite toys, and books. A personal shelf beside each bed will work just as well for children sharing bunk beds or a room with limited space. Locking boxes for each child will allow privacy for their individual treasures. Children's storage bins that hide away beneath the bed are also a great way to give each child their own storage space.
The word kids and toys are synonym with one another. Where ever there are kids around, you can find a trail of toys scattered all over the place. As with all good homes, there should be a place for everything so that the home is maintained in good order. If there is easy access for kids to store away their things, as a parent you will have more chance in teaching your kids to pack up after themselves.
If the box is made of wood and it has a lid, examine if the box has tight-fitted hinges because they allow the box to stay half open. This avoids having their dainty little fingers from getting crushed by the lid when it falls shut. If you decide on storage boxes for kids with lids, see to it that you buy a box with an easy to open lid and a box that has a pretty tight lid that your kids can't easily open. The easy to open box will store toys that they can play without supervision and the other box will be used for toys that needs supervision such as toys with small parts.
