Most parents start buying it even before the baby arrives. Baby crib, small wardrobes, baskets, and chairs are some of the items that are bought for the baby. As the baby grows, the baby crib is replaced with a small bed. The furniture items in a kid's bedroom change with every year. In the beginning, many parents use their garage for storage purposes. However, soon they run out of space. This is when they need to give a serious thought to children's furniture storage.
Storage Chest: Cedar chests in particular offer a great visual appeal and a fair amount of storage. If your dress-ups aren't used on a weekly basis, try a chest that will get more air like a white wicker chest. Otherwise, just make sure that the wooden chest is stored in a dry place! Pros: Visually appealing, large, protects clothes. Cons: Takes up space, doesn't allow clothes to be organized. Note: tub options do not allow you to hang those princess dresses.
All the organizational products in the world won't keep you organized. Setting things up in a practical way should always be on your mind while you're organizing. Here's an example; Some people really enjoy having a changing station or changing table in the nursery. However, an overwhelming percentage of people who buy them, never use them. How could something that you'll use several times a day that stores all of your related baby items never get used? Location, location, location! Most people do not have the nursery right off of their living room, where they'll spend most of their time. So, they end up using a changing pad instead. The lesson here is that being expensive or seeming like a great idea means nothing if it's not convenient to use.
