Midi or Cabin Beds - are excellent kids beds for rooms with limited space. Midi beds usually have built in drawers and cupboards underneath the bed unit and often incorporate a pull out desk. Some Midi beds have under-bed curtains and leave the space underneath the bed free to be used as a play tent for children or as storage space for larger toys. Midi beds are lower than bunk beds and high sleepers and are suitable for younger children.
Loft Beds. Similar to bunk beds, but instead of a bed below the top bunk, these have desks, dressers, and other furnishings underneath. These are a great choice because they save a lot of space and kids still have the fun of having an elevated bed.
The first thing you should consider when buying beds for your kids is their age and personality. A simple bed is a basic and general choice. However, it doesn't always appeal to your child's preferences. Most of the time, kids love to have character, theme, and colors in their room. If a bed is too simple, it only serves a functional purpose. From toddler years to early teens, kids love color and activity. A kids bed land is something appropriate for very young kids. They like to play and learn from different shapes, colors, and things around them. Once they grow older, simpler designs and a change of wall colors may be more appropriate for teenagers.
