Loft Beds. Similar to bunk beds, but instead of a bed below the top bunk, these have desks, dressers, and other furnishings underneath. These are a great choice because they save a lot of space and kids still have the fun of having an elevated bed.
The bed frame should be able to withstand rough handling and metal frames are considered to be much better than beds with wooden frames. Since all children love to jump on their beds and use it as a trampoline it's always safer and worth it in the long run to have an underside with springs that can withstand all that activity.
It is also important to pay attention to what types of detergent it uses. If the item says "do not use bleach," you will never ever want to use it. There are two reasons for this. One, it could damage the color of the item, which can be overcome by using non-chlorine bleach, or what some brands call color-safe bleach.
